GOVERNORS PROCLAMATION
Governor, Beverly Perdue, proclaims February 13-17, 2012 as "School Bus Driver Appreciation Week" in North Carolina, and urges our citizens to recognize the excellence of our state's school bus drivers and their record of safety.

The North Carolina Pupil Transportation Association changes “Summer Conference” to “NCPTA 2012 TRANSPOSIUM“ as we roll out a new logo and return to the Outer Banks, June 25–29, 2012.
The NCPTA 2012 Transposium acknowledged an emerging need for extensive training for all members by offering practical solutions, hands-on training, and the “best ever” Exhibitor Trade Show.
The goal of our Transposium is to help achieve safe, compliant, and efficient school related bus transportation for our children. This year we decided to return to our roots, by having all events at a local school setting.
We hope that all LEA’s view this annual event as an investment in their employees. The needs of the children in your school district depend on it.
