Northampton	Squire Elem	Ann Debreaux-Davis, Principal	2/14-18/11	Our week long "Salute the Driver's Day" each morning with a poem or song dedicated to the driver being honored for the day (only 5 drivers). Students, staff, and parents can give out love the bus valentine cards, notes, gifts, and etc. to that driver on their day. Breakfast bag with a biscuit, drink, and fruit will be given in salute of the driver.  A short bio will be read by one of the students from that bus. The culminating activity on Friday will be a school wide "We Love Our Bus Drivers" assembly honoring all the drivers by our district transportation director, board members, and our superintendent. They will be presented with "goodie bags" from the assigned classrooms, "I Love My Bus Driver" certificates, and the highlight of a rendition of the remake of We Love Our Bus Drivers, to the tune of "The Wheels on the Bus." Decorations will be banners made by the children from each bus and letters/notes of love and appreciation.  Parents and community will be invited - the students will make flyers and invitations were distributed January 28, 2011.
