Doug Horn, Wilson County Schools, Bus Driver of the Year and transportation director Jim Lewis will be appearing on the local TV channel "Education Today" to discuss Love the Bus and other transportation topics. Some of the school-based activities include: Vick Elementary - a "Love The Bus" essay contest and a poster contest.; Springfield - "Love The Bus" cards with candy; Speight - treats each day for their drivers; Forest Hills - providing gifts and cards for their drivers; Forest Hills EC Class - drawing school bus safety poster and a possible presentation to some of the 6th grade classes. Wilson County students who placed in the 2008 school bus safety poster contest will be recognized during the "Good News" presentations at our next School Board meeting on February 9th.
