The committee is comprised of members of the school bus transportation community from around the state and is charged with the task of reviewing and revising the state specifications for school buses, activity buses & state service vehicles. These revisions are based on feedback received from bus drivers, bus technicians, transportation directors, DMV, DPI and DOA personnel. Each committee member serves a three year term. Please contact a member in your district with any concerns that have bearing on the safety, design & efficiency of school buses, activity buses or state service trucks in North Carolina.
