Coming from Greenville, take Hwy 43 to Vanceboro ( coming from Washington, take Hwy 17 S to Vanceboro) then Hwy 17 S
to Bridgeton, and on to the new Neuse River bridge. On the bridge take Hwy 70 East to Morehead City bearing off to the right
then to the left to stay on Hwy 70 East. After you cross the railroad tracks move into the left hand lane as soon as possible.
Coming from Jacksonville (Hwy 17 N):
Come into New Bern on Hwy 17 N. After you go by Wal Mart (on the right) and Twin Rivers Mall (on the left) move into the
right hand lane and turn right on Hwy 17 S then merge onto Hwy 70 E. Stay on Hwy 70 E (to Morehead City) as you cross
the Trent River Bridge. Follow the directions in paragraph # 2 below.
Coming from Kinston (Hwy 70 E):
Stay on Hwy 70 East heading toward Morehead City. Stay on Hwy 70 East and go by the first two stop lights after
crossing the railroad tracks. The first stop light is at the intersection with Burger King and McDonald's, then the second
light is at the intersection for Centura Bank the air port main entrance and with a First Citizens Bank on the left side of the
highway. After the second light you must be in the left hand lane. At the THIRD cross over after the second stop light,
there is no light at this intersection, turn to the left on East Grantham Road (SR# 1124). There is a Trade Mart on the
left side of Hwy 70 at this intersection. Go straight on East Grantham Road for about one?half mile and you will be
directly in front of the Instructional Tech. Center. The Tech Center, as it is called, is a part of Brinson Memorial Elementary
School. The Tech Center faces Old Cherry Point Road (SR# 1113). The Tech Center is the older small brick building just
behind the tennis court area connected to the school by covered walkways.
Coming from Morehead City (Hwy 70 W):
From Morehead City, five plus miles from New Bern, at the intersection of Thurman Rd and Hwy 70 is a stop light
(Mallard Station on left and Exxon on the right) then at the stop light at Taberna sub-division move into the right lane.
At the next intersection that turns to the right, turn right onto East Grantham Road (at a Trade Mart on the right) for
about one?half mile and you will be directly in front of the Instructional Tech. Center. The Tech Center, as it is called,
