Bryson Nesbitt, a school bus driver from Rowan County received a check for $500, a certificate and a trophy as winner of the state ROADeo finals. He will represent North Carolina at the 41st Annual School Bus Driver International Safety Competition to be held in Baltimore, Maryland.

The North Carolina State School Bus Driving Competition was held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. The event is co-sponsored by the NC Pupil Transportation, the Division of Motor Vehicles, Wake County Schools and DPI Transportation Services. Forty-three contenders from across the state advanced through district competition to participate in the “ROADeo” finals.
